Halloween, 2024. A client approached me to decorate her apartment for a Halloween party, seeking a creative yet budget-friendly solution. She envisioned a festive and spooky atmosphere without overspending on decorations. I took on the challenge by crafting a personalised design plan that maximised the use of her existing items while incorporating cost-effective, handmade elements. To achieve this, I repurposed materials from her home to create unique Halloween props and decorations, including centrepieces, wall décor, and table settings. By reimagining everyday items, I delivered high-impact visuals while staying under budget. I also designed and set up the lighting to enhance the eerie ambience of the event, transforming the space into an immersive Halloween experience. Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with the client to align the décor with her vision, balancing creativity with practicality. This customised approach not only reduced costs but also added a personal touch that resonated with her guests. Every element was carefully planned and executed, from layout design to the finishing touches, to create a cohesive and memorable atmosphere. The event was a success, with the client and her guests praising the unique and professional setup. This project demonstrated my ability to deliver innovative solutions within budget while managing every aspect of event design, from concept to completion.
